Senior Sales Account Executive

Our ideal candidate must be a motivated, ambitious, and a pure client hunter. This person will prospect, grow new business, and maintain key accounts with OUTSTANDING unlimited earnings potential and career growth.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for communicating the specifics of client requirements to AV Solutions support personnel so that the client experiences a superior level of customer service. It is the responsibility of the Account Executive to make certain that client expectations are being met or exceeded by creating realistic expectations, then taking responsibility for meeting those expectations.

Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and at client sites in all stages of construction and will be required to drive to client sites.

  • Generate sales for AV systems through developing and maintaining client relationships and expanding the company’s current client base.
  • Call on established commercial, government, and education accounts in the greater Louisiana market.
  • Qualify and develop new accounts.
  • Identify sales prospects and provide accurate forecasts and activity reports to management.
  • Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed.
  • Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s visual collaboration needs.
  • Identify customers’ needs and budgets and align to AV Solutions’ product ecosystem and services.
  • Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable (GP).
  • Prepare agreements and pricing strategies for targets accounts and submit all required documentation.
  • Work with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
  • Perform site surveys where needed.
  • Other duties are assigned as needed.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with EOS, HubSpot, Quickbooks, and Quickbase a plus.
  • Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • A four-year degree is desirable or an associate’s college degree (preferred).
  • 5 years of direct commission sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Cisco, SMART, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, present, and demonstrate audiovisual collaboration products and services to end-user customers.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers both verbal and written.
  • Strong ability to close business, securing orders under acceptable company terms and margins.

Lead Field Installer

Job Description

Assemble, test, plan, deliver, install, train, and service AV Solutions systems to our standards. As a part of the AV Solutions delivery team, your key objectives include delivering accurate, direct answers and outcomes, meeting client expectations as established by our team, leaving a clean site, minimizing distractions to our clients, and recognizing unfulfilled needs/wishes we can address to thrill every client.

  • Preferred experience mounting TVs and projectors.
  • Preferred experience pulling, terminating, and testing CAT 5/6 cable.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to challenges.
  • Requires flexibility to work late and long hours as required by individual projects, and flexibility to work around occasional off-hour client needs. Weekend work is rare.
  • General start times are coordinated during onboarding.
  • The better the candidate estimates and prepares, the earlier they will routinely leave work. We provide guidance and structure to ensure organization, but ultimately executing an effective actions plan is up to the installer.
